Community Photo Shoot, Green

This was taken last Spring.  Nothing at all green around here yet.

BEGINNER CATEGORY - WEARING OF THE GREEN

(Deadline: The evening of Friday, March 21st)

They say that on St. Patrick's Day, the whole world is Irish. Well, you don't have to be Irish to find some green in your world. Whether it's a St. Paddy's Day parade, your aunt's green scarf or spring blossoms, shoot something green this week and share it with us.

Tis Green for the wee lads and lassies.
Thanks to all the judges.  I am honored.

Julie, it certainly IS green! Very nicely presented...love the way the backlighting highlights the furry edges. Great job!

This is pretty cool.  The backligting of the fuzz really adds a bunch of visual interest here, and helps to isolate the main subject very nicely!

That is a great close up of what I think is a fox tail.    Lots of green in the background.    mark

Weeds are one of my favorite photo subjects.  They're just beautiful.  They also get the strangest looks from your family when you stop to take them (entertainment value).
:)

Nice job with this.  The focus is good and I love the way you caught the light.  It seems to be glowing.
