I thought I was posting these to this album but did it in my other. Trying out the new features. Not sure I like them, the pictures are fuzzy and you lose alot of the shot but it does give some neat effects. I am going to do a flower entry if our wind ever dies down. I am showing these both ways.

Very interesting photos. One of my relatives moved from here to New York in the early 1900's. He was an artist and worked for a company who made those teracotta mouldings, I wish I knew if some of his work was still around on buildings today.

Julie What has happened to your journal. The pictures are all in one straight line. I know AOL. again. I like pictures of things that are old.

when i first saw the new aol slide show, i thought i liked it...but i believe i much prefer the old way...you are able to view the whole pic at once and as fast or slow as you want...and can even go back to look again. great shots.

I'm going to give you my opinion on the new AOL picture display, if you don't mind. I think the slide show is a travesty to photography. It destroys the photograph's composition. It moves constantly, so you can't let your eyes scan the picture. One of the things that makes a good picture is being able to lead the viewer's eye through the picture. AOL has taken that element away, and has turned many a good photograph into just another slide from a family trip to Jellystone National Park. Go with what you like better, it is your journal, but I can't force myself to watch the slide show. Thank you for posting the pictures both ways. They are very nice, but none of that comes through in the slide show.
