First of all I was looking at my pictures on my son's computer. They looked quite a bit different on his then mine. That surprised me quite a bit. The colors weren't as bright. Dan says his computer screen is brighter then my flat screen which is why the colors look different.
That is what is different about digital as opposed to film. On film what you see is what you get. On digital what you see is what your equipment lets you see. On his monitor I was disappointed in a couple of the shots I took. They weren't as nice. So who's monitor is showing the real picture? When I do print my pictures they look like my monitor but if I printed them from Dan's monitor would they look like they do on his? Does this make any sense or am I just rambling. Oh well.
Next I have some pictures I took with my 35 mm. They didn't scan as nice as they really look but you can get the idea.
Now I would know to use the water as my leveler. Still it just proves the world is round. This was on Madeline Island is Wisconsin.
Some sunset pictures from Upper Peninsula, Michigan
From Wisconsin again.
Southwood where I go fishing and hiking at times. It is so pretty there and you can not believe the bass and catfish.
And last are just some random vacation pictures. They need no titles as most will recognize them.
And last my favorite cabin.

BEAUTIFUL
These are all beautiful shots. As for the difference in the computer screens, I have a mac & I think Macs have a more accurate display of an image than a WindowPC. I also have a flatscreen & I can adjust the brightness.

Just beautiful...all of them.
I have some odd experiences with different screens too. Drives me nuts!

All of your pictures are beautiful. I used to have a large monitor with a flat screen with brilliant colors. My screen now is one of those where the whole monitor is thin. The other kind does have more color to them as these are supposed to be designed to be easier on the eyes or so I was told. I have never done any adjusting on my screen but since Marie mentioned it I looked and sure enough there are a lot of thingys to adjust on the side LOL. I think I will just let it be though. I would love to see a picture of the cabin made with you current camera. helen
